B&A Group Covid 19 Statement
UPDATED MAY 2021
Following the further easing of restrictions from May 17th 2021, we would like to reassure our customers and suppliers that B&A Group will continue to operate under strict government guidelines.
As a business, the health and safety of our staff remains paramount and our continuity planning ensures we can adapt to these ongoing changes. The latest guidance states:
‘Anyone who can work from home should do so. Anyone else who cannot work from home should go to their place of work. However, employers should consider whether home working is appropriate for workers facing mental or physical health difficulties, or those with a particularly challenging home working environment. Employers should consult with their workers to determine who needs to come into the workplace’.
Therefore, our driving team, plant operators and other site-based personnel will continue to work safely and within the scope of our robust COVID 19 risk assessments. Where possible, many of our office-based staff will continue to work from home. Any staff members who are working in the office will continue to work within a COVID secure environment. We will always aim to ensure current operations are not disrupted and B&A Group will continue to offer an excellent and compliant service to our customers, without compromising the safety of the B&A Group team.
This approach enables us to uphold our duty of care to our employees, stakeholders and serve our customers, working safely, responsibly and with confidence in the supply of transport & recycled aggregates, quarried aggregates & earthwork projects. We will continue to constantly review our working procedures in accordance with the issued Government guidance.
