B&A Group Staff Updates | Newsletter 2019

Over the last year, B&A Group has welcomed a number of key staff including Chris Jury, Paul Pritchard, Izabela Papros and Dan Pursey who have joined our highly experienced and busy transport department together with Zakk Glover, Accounts Assistant to our accounts team.

Both Chris and Paul, having gained valuable experience in the industry, have joined us at B&A Group as Environmental Engineers. Both Paul and Chris love being out on-site, meeting with clients to answer queries and resolve any problems. Their jobs are very hands-on and care of the customer their main objective.  ‘Seeing a job through from start to finish is extremely satisfying’, comments Chris.

Dan Pursey

Dan has joined our transport department as Transport Logistics Assistant, his role supporting the day to day operations of the transport team to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible.  Working closely alongside Rob Edwards, Transport Logistics Manager assisting in identifying operational issues, potential problems and future job opportunities. Dan is also in daily contact with our clients resolving and managing any customer queries.

Our transport department involves long hours and is a high-pressure working environment where things can change from minute to minute. Izabela thrives in this atmosphere, as B&A Group’s Senior Transport Administrator. Ultimately, she assists the Operations Manager with the day-to-day running of the transport department.

Zakk our Accounts Assistant joined us in November 2018 and has become is a valuable member of our hard-working accounts team.   Whilst working at B&A Group, Zakk is also studying for his AAT Level 3 Advanced Diploma. 

We would also like to welcome both Richard Pool and Karolina Kapitanovaite to their brand-new roles within the B&A Group.

Richard, having taken a well-earned sabbatical, moved from WTN Processing and Assistant Transport Manager to working alongside and supporting our Group Fleet Manager Kevin Bogira.  As Transport Administrator Richard’s duties involve all the hard work, detail and logistics of running B&A Groups very large fleet of vehicles working alongside Kevin, fitters Marc Nightingale, Luke Nixon and apprentice Reece Drew.

Karolina has moved from the busy role of weighbridge operator to that of Transport administrator, working closely with Izabela and Marc Large our Operations Manager, Karolina’s job involves working with both our sub-contractor and outside suppliers.  Karolina also works closely with the rest of the team managing customer calls and emails.

Kevin, Aidan and Clare Berkley and all those at B&A Group would also like to wish both Sam Ford and Harriet Wills all the happiness in the world on their maternity leave. The office will not be the same without them.   We all at the B&A Group would like to welcome Amber Blayney and Lucy Vinall who will be taking Harriet and Sam’s place behind our reception whilst they are on leave.
