We were pleased to welcome back Sam Ford recently after her return from maternity leave after having her second little boy in 2022.
Sam has been with B&A Group for 5 years and is a valued member of the team. As one of our Receptionists, Sam’s top priority is to welcome visitors when they visit us at our B&A Office in Hallen as well as answer any inbound calls. No two days are the same when working on reception and Sam is often completing a range of jobs and requests from other members of staff to help ensure that the day-to-day runs smoothly and efficiently. Other duties include sorting and distributing post, ordering stationery and other stock items, providing refreshments for meetings and assisting the Group Finance Manager with general accounting administration.
We asked Sam what she loved most about her job and the answer was, the people that she works with. Due to Sam’s role, she is exposed to so many people in the business and always enjoys assisting her colleagues. Being part of a family-run business is reflected in every member of staff, from the Reception Team all the way through to our Senior Management Team and is one of the core values here at B&A.
Outside of work, Sam has her hands full with her two little ones, but when she isn’t running around after her toddlers, Sam likes to go camping and make memories with her family as well as crocheting. Sam is also an avid gardener and loves to spend time outside, maintaining their outdoor space and helping the children to plant and grow their own vegetables!
Like many of us, Sam is looking forward to the Summer months when we can enjoy lighter evenings and spend even more time outdoors soaking up some rays and taking the boys on lots of exciting camping holidays.
We’d like to thank Sam for her hard work so far and welcome her back from Maternity leave. It’s so lovely to see Sam in Reception again, we all look forward to catching up with her again in the coming weeks.
