B&A Group hosts bonfire night competition
Following on from the success of our Halloween fundraiser, we have generated further funds for Meningitis Now – putting us one step closer to fulfilling B&A Group’s pledge of achieving its £100,000 target for the company’s chosen charity.
Last Friday, the B&A Group went out with a ‘bang’ by putting together a mouth-watering hamper, packed with a range of goodies including a bottle of fizz and sparklers to kick-start bonfire night!
For a small donation of £2 per ticket, members of the B&A team entered the in-house raffle to try and secure top spot.
The winner was announced as B&A Group’s Credit Controller, Nicki Hawking.
“Our fabulous Credit Controller Nicki Hawking, who is currently celebrating her 10 year anniversary at the Bristol and Avon Group, has drawn the winning ticket for our November 5th Hamper,” said Clare Raby, Media and Marketing Manager at B&A Group.
“Nicki and her husband Greg will be in Scotland visiting Hadrian’s Wall, and I suspect a fizz and whisky cocktail will be on the menu.”
A very delighted Nicki added: “I never win anything,” she joked. “Maybe I ought to get a few lottery tickets.”
A total of £100 was raised for B&A Group’s bonfire night raffle, with all proceeds going towards Meningitis Now.
Once again, we would like to thank Clare Raby for her fantastic efforts in organising such a great event and also to B&A staff for giving generously.
We are feeling optimistic about what the New Year will bring, and we will undoubtedly be hosting similar events in the near future to spread our gospel for the B&A Group’s near and dear foundation.
