B&A Group secures contract with Britannia Construction

The B&A Group have been successful in securing a supply contract with long-standing customer, Britannia Construction.

The partnership will see the relocation of Stroud Metal’s industrial premises, where B&A Group will deliver recycled aggregates to its new site on Brunel Way, Stonehouse.

Commenting on the company’s progression, Ashley Bruno, Sales Manager at B&A Group, said: “Over 730 loads have been supplied for this project so far at up to 2,000 tonnes a day.

“The recycled materials include 6F5 and Type 1 Sub-base, with the latter being delivered to Stroud Metal’s new facility in due course.”

To run this project effectively, B&A Group have supplied 15 – 20 vehicles on turn each day. This consisted of both 8 wheel tippers and artic vehicles.

Explaining how his team will overcome the challenges ahead, Ashley notes: “Spacing the vehicles out to ensure there is a steady stream is very important. Rob, Marc & Connie in our transport team have a big task to ensure vehicles don’t get in each other’s way!”
