With an investment of £11 million, 2015 has seen B&A Group open a new facility in Hallen. The new headquarters will centralise all operational activities, allowing greater and more efficient production of recycled aggregate, storage and remediation technology.
Set up to receive a huge range of materials, the new facility allows the production of recycled aggregate types, road plainings, sand and top soil. The substantial investment in Powerscreen screening and crushing means that we are able to efficiently maximize our output and produce a wide range of secondary & recyclable aggregates to meet our customer’s sustainability objectives.
Alongside the equipment and production areas, we’re beginning work on our new workshop and office building. This part of the site will become home to our Soil Testing & Sales Team, alongside our Transport, Finance and Administration departments. We’ll also be designing a bespoke training room accessible for all staff to continue to grow their expertise in the field.
The new Hallen facility also houses parking for up to 100 vehicles, allowing B&A Group to handle bigger jobs quicker and with more efficiency. And, with our environmental interests at the forefront, we’ve commissioned the creation of a conservation area to allow for the restoration of the natural habitat.
