We are pleased to announce a new charity partnership programme which will see Bristol & Avon Group sponsor a specially branded truck to help raise funds for Meningitis Now, the UK’s largest Meningitis charity.
For each load the truck carries during 2015, £1 will be given to the charity, raising a total of £10,000. Further to that, Bristol & Avon will be asking suppliers and customers to sponsor the truck to show their support for the cause, with the aim of raising a pot of £100,000 by the end of the year. These funds will be plunged into research to help develop a vaccine to cover all strains of Meningitis, to ensure this devastating disease is eradicated for good.
Becky Mentha will be heading up the B&A Group Fundraising Team, organising fundraising events on a monthly basis to support our pledge to raise £100,000.
